Former Generations actor ,Melusi Yeni, has returned to TV screens with a new role on e.tv drama Imbewu.

The talented stayed away from the stage for several years following rumours surrounding his private life, but is determined to come back with a bang.

Meluso plays the part of a traditional Zulu man, Manqoba Dlamini, a financial forensic investigator contracted to probe the alleged fraudulent dealings of shoddy businessman, Shanil Maharaj.

According to TshisaLIVE, Malusi is expected to make his screen debut tomorrow, Friday, 18 January after a long break from screens and Malusi said he was excited to finally make a comeback.

Malusi said in the report that when he is not hearing the word 'action' then he is not a happy person.

When I am not hearing, 'action' then I am not a happy person. I missed it. When I put on that makeup or costume in preparation for going on set, I find myself and the story. For me, it is when Melusi comes alive.

He posted a pic on social media to let his fans know about his screen debut.

Malusi said despite the rumours and headlines ranging from his failing health and about him going broke, he assured fans that he has turned over a new leaf, learnt some valuable lessons over the years and is determined to be a better and stronger person.

Melusi said he was encouraged by the support from fans.

No matter what people say about me, my fans always ask when I am coming back on screens. It is that support that gets me through (the difficult times).
