We are all getting geared up for the elections that are not too far away. Celebrities are no different. They are voicing their opinions with regards to the state of politics in Mzansi, loud and clear.
The billboard that was revealed in Johannesburg on Wednesday by the DA, sent the internet into meltdown mode. The slogan that is printed on the billboard read “The ANC is Killing Us”.
Briefly.co.za learnt that after social media users and celebrities saw this, the comments came flooding in. There were so many remarks pertaining to the campaign as well as the upcoming elections.
Lerato Kganyago, a South African musician and radio star has taken the opportunity to press her followers to be active in taking the time to question politicians.
Lerato raised the topic with her followers. She asked if they were given the opportunity, what questions they would ask politicians. Once she had done this, she then proceeded on doing the exercise herself.
The one question that Lerato would propose, would be regarding the entertainment industry. She would very much like to know where the politicians are when they are needed.
After voicing her questions, social media embarked on a debate with some people recollecting that last year some time the EFF did come to the rescue of Fifi Cooper.
Others commented that they were unsatisfied with political parties not replying to the concerns of the people.
