South Africans were lapping up a social media post in which a young woman shared an experience involving her father and an ‘entitled’ man.
Twitter user, Buhle (@boohley), shared an interesting tweet in which she described an incident involving a male friend and her father.
The gentleman visited Buhle’s family at her grandparent’s house and was taken aback by the fact that the females were wearing pants.
He took it upon himself to advise that such attire is not allowed, implying that only males should wear trousers.
Buhle’s father took exception to this and essentially responded that his family will wear what they want to.
Based on the interaction, Buhle made a sweeping generalisation that all men from rural KwaZulu Natal are entitled.
Tweeps showed their love for her father’s intervention.
However, some of the men reading the tweet, disagreed with the generalisation.
Twitter user, @Thapelo_VK, quoted a biblical scripture as he justified the initial statement made by the visitor.
