Woman uses her toddler to shield her weave from the rain

On Thursday, a social media user shared a video of a woman using her toddler as a shield in the rain- and it left tweeps speechless.

Most ladies know how important it is to maintain a beautiful hairstyle- and, rain is not your friend.

However, one woman took looking after her hair to an entirely new level when she used her toddler as an umbrella.

Taking to Twitter on Thursday, social media user @LevisLaKing posted the shocking footage on the platform.

"Lord your daughters are protecting their weaves from the rain with their children," he captioned the post.

Briefly.co.za gathered the video caused quite the stir on Twitter. Some found the footage hilarious while others condemned the mother's actions.

Twitter user @MrAI314816 commented: "Wow!and that seem to be a girl child,things have changed now . mothers are the abusers of the children.#16daysOfActivism."
Sinah, who goes by the Twitter handle @Wenbeautycals, wrote: "Isn't a child the first thing mothers protect?"

Meanwhile, another video caused a stir on social media. Briefly.co.za reported earlier footage showed motorists and residents looting an overturned truck.

On Thursday morning, a truck overturned on the N6 between Cathcart and Stutterheim. However, before help could arrive, locals and motorists saw an opportunity to help themselves.
