The motivational #ImNotAshamed thread that is setting social media alight, has brought some inspirational and heart-warming stories to the surface as South Africans share their tales of triumph and pride about their backgrounds, heritage and current circumstances.

The thread has been encouraging people to take pride in their decisions and accomplishments as well as to be patient and to remember that the universe is waiting for the perfect moment to make their dreams come true and that God has always got their back, Briefly.co.za found.
