- Natural hair influencer and entrepreneur, Leogang Mosehla, is unashamed of being from the township
- Lebogang had a photo shoot for her upcoming project in a squatter camp
- She is proud of where she comes from and wanted to share that with the country
A young entrepreneur bravely shared her story on social media, writing that she is not ashamed that she came from a squatter camp and overcame poverty to lead a successful and fulfilling life.
Lebogang Mosehla, who now lives in Midrand, is a natural hair influencer and founder of Seala Moriri Organics, a company that makes organic products to keep natural hair looking big, healthy and beautiful, Briefly.co.za learned.
When asked where she wanted to have her photoshoot to promote her new project, she proudly answered that she wanted to take it back to her roots and have the shoot at a squatter camp.
Her new project is still being kept under wraps until her big reveal, but it is aimed and empowering youth from informal settlements.
While she may have been jumping on board a trending hashtag at the time, Lebogang expresses her pride and unashamed confidence on a regular basis. As a natural hair influencer, she encourages young black women to feel beautiful being their natural selves and to flaunt their blackness.
Social media applauded her confidence and thanked her for being an inspiration for others out there that feel as though they don’t belong in society, because of their backgrounds.
Njabula Mlaba wrote that Lebogang’s tweet inspired him as a man from a poor background who is now completing his final year of his Law degree.
Nathi added that he is proud of her and reminded her that her background is what has made her the absolute queen she is today.
