3 musicians who aren't shy to tell everyone what political party they support

Celebrities are advised to keep their political views to themselves, and most of them do that, but occasionally a celeb will be quite outspoken about what political party they support and vote for, despite the general secrecy around such decisions

It is an unwritten rule (or was it written down somewhere?) that the political party you support and vote for is your business and you don't tell anyone else about it.

Celebs are supposed to be the most secretive about these things as it can cause a lot of friction and problems with opposing parties and their supporters.

However, not all celebs like playing by the rules, and some of them have been open about who they support.

Here are the 3 celebs we found haven't been shy about who they support:

AKA - ANC

AKA is voting ANC in the upcoming elections, and his allegiance to the green, gold and black flag has not really been much of a secret. Briefly.co.za reported earlier that the rapper took to social media to throw shots at a DA election campaign.

Arthur Mafokate - ANC

Arthur has always been a pro-ANC man. Recently, at the ANC manifesto launch, his presence left the ANC a little shame-faced after it made the news for the wrong reasons. A photo taken by Arthur with activist Nomzamo Mbatha caused a stir on social media.

Briefly.co.za reported that it was because Arthur is accused of abusing his ex and Nomzamo is against abuse against women.

Ringo Madlingozi - EFF

The Economic Freedom Fighters have got themselves a new member after musician Ringo Madlingozi swapped out his black, green and gold for a red beret. Ringo has not been shy in declaring his switch and has been posting photos of himself in the EFF’s trademark red beret and all red outfits.
