A video has sparked outrage on social media which showed a black man slamming a white beggar, who asked for money to buy bread.
A video of a white beggar being scolded while he begged for money to buy bread, has made its way on social media.
In the video, a black motorist is heard slamming the white man, who asked him for R2 to buy bread.
"My forefathers will kill me if I help a white man," the motorist is heard saying.
He added earlier on in the video that he would only give the beggar money if he was the last man on earth and if he had a gun pointed at his head, Briefly.co.za gathered.
The motorist was accused of provoking the race issue at an unnecessary occasion.
Social media users on different platforms, Facebook and Twitter, slammed the motorist's actions.
Vincent Kalane wrote: "Judge him alone. He doesn't represent us."
Zelda Rams added: "'My forefathers would kill me if I gave a white person two rand' I gave my white friend my phone because she needed it and I had three, I'm still waiting on that thunder from the forefathers my guy."
Madonna Moagi found the footage heartbreaking, commenting: "How do you strip a man of the little confidence he has left? Wheres Ubuntu? I regret opening this clip strue."
