A woman took to social media to share photos of an outfit she bought online alongside the item she ordered- and it was clear the purchase was an epic fail.
Online shopping has made life so much more convenient- you can buy whatever you want from the comfort of your own home while sipping on wine in your pyjamas.
However, it is also accompanied by several risks, including fraud. One of those risks is not getting the product you purchased or the product looking nothing like the advertised one.
Author Anelile Gibixego fell victim to the latter. After seeing a stunning two piece outfit, Gibixego ordered a pink version of the advertised clothes.
However, upon arrival, it was clear the finished product looked nothing like the one she purchased.
"A. This is what I asked my dress maker for. B. What the dressmaker sent me," she captioned photos of her dress and the one she ordered.
Briefly.co.za gathered social media users were left in stitches. One tweep even poked fun at local artist Rasta, who paints political and other famous figures.
Luckily, Gibixego's friend stepped in and saved the day. She managed to redo the entire top and the author ended up looking spectacular at her book launch.
