Bafana Bafana midfielder, Lawrence Siphiwe Tshabalala , received a sweet letter from one of his super fans, all the way from China.

The fan, Luo Wei, said all he wanted to do was tell him that he (Siphiwe) was his favourite star. He admired him for standing up for what he believed him and the way he played soccer.

Tshabalala , who plays for Büyükşehir Belediye Erzurumspor in the Turkish Süper Lig, posted the letter on his Instagram account, and said: "My greatest legacy will be the lives I've touched."

Wei asked him for an autograph at the end of the letter, after singing the soccer star's praises.

This is the kind of support, every celeb dreams off. What a sweet letter for a talented soccer player.

After a successful career at Kaizer Chiefs, Tshabalala made a switch to European football last year. He now plays for Turkish club Erzurumspor. As a result of immense success, "Shabba" can afford a life of luxury complete with a multimillion rand home and swanky, top-of-the-range cars.
