Mzansi’s fitness fundi, Sbahle Mpisane is on a mighty road to recovery, after being involved in a serious car accident that nearly cost her, her life last year.
She spent more than three months in hospital and was discharged in December. She slowly returned to social media to update fans about her health and physical progress.
Photos show that the effects of the accident were clear. She was in a wheelchair, wore a leg brace and also has bandagers and plasters on her body.
The fitness bunny remains positive though and has even returned to the gym to try and get her body strong again. She posted a pic on Instagram to thank her trainers who are helping her a long the way.
Sbahle posted a picture of herself standing up and dancing a day ago. When fans said she should be careful, the bubbly Sabhle said it was only for a moment.
“I’m still recovering. Just couldn’t stop myself from standing up and moving a bit tonight,” she wrote.
Besides getting fit, Sbahle has also trying to get back into her life. Briefly.co.za reported that Sbahle made her first public appearance since the accident, a few days ago at a local school in KwaZaulu-Natal.
She joined a charity drive by Royal Am to donate 200 shoes and 1200 sanitary pads to Wiggins Mkumbane Primary School in Durban.
Two weeks ago, Sbahle opened up about her accident and the pain she experienced after waking up from a coma.
