Bonang Matheba revealed she is moving to New York at an exclusive event in Joburg

Mzansi’s TV personality, Bonang Matheba revelealed she was moving to New York, at an exclusive event hosted by cognac brand, Courvoisier in Johannesburg on Tuesday.

She spoke to The Juice that evening, as reported by Channel24. She recalled one of her highlights of 2018 was travelling New York Fashion Week alongside David Tlale and Anatii.

She said she was able to see her favourite people in New York, and she had set up shop there because she is moving there for a couple of weeks.

The star said her plan for 2019 is to set up shop in the Big Apple. The best part is that her fans will also get a glim her life in the States in the third season of her reality show, Being Bonang.

She told Channel24, that Season three has a lot of Bonang the business and her international work.

"I’m going to London and Los Angeles, you get to see my life there. I’m moving to a new apartment in New York so that’s going to be fun. I get to do a lot of red-carpet events in America, so it’s jam packed," she explained.

Beside launching her third season of her show this year, Bonang also plans to release her first film in March, a documentary called Public Figure, which she stars in and produced.

She said the movie is about the pros and cons of social media and the addiction - how people have either started lives, jobs and new careers based on social media, as well as the negative impacts that social media has on society.
