Two-weeks-ago, the 2019 school year kicked off and parents had to buy all their kids school supplies. However, one man was left a bit worried after a crèche teacher requested 24 toilet paper rolls.
On Tuesday, Twitter parody account Man's Not Barry Roux posted a hilarious video on social media, which showed a parent complaining about his kid's teacher asking for 24 toilet paper rolls.
The man complained about the teacher request and went on to ask why they needed that much toilet paper.
Briefly.co.za gathered he asked what a child would do with 24 toilet paper rolls because they surely can’t be going to the toilet that often.
The parent then goes on to say the teacher probably takes the toilet paper as part of their own grocery list.
Other parents related to the man's situation and they shared items their kids' crèches requested.
Zizwe Ndiyase, who goes by the Twitter handle @Balo_soul, added: "At my daughter's creche they wanted 4 boxes of 1 kg Kellogg's Corn Flakes, per term. Bayenza yona igrocery labantu!"
Nthabiseng Madubanya, @NthabisengMadub, commented: "On top of that: It has to be 2-ply."
