On Tuesday, three women were left stranded on the busy Joburg freeway after their car's tyre burst while on route to a meeting.
Luzette Pizer and two other ladies were on their way to a meeting when her car's tyre burst. Stranded on the side of a busy road, they were in quite the tight spot.
However, three men came to their rescue without hesitation. So, she took a photo of them and decided to praise them for their kindness where all the world can see- social media.
"Early morning traffic to Johannesburg for a meeting and I burst a tyre on the freeway. Thank you to these 3 kind gentlemen who came to the immediate rescue of 3 ladies stuck on the side of a very busy road! We appreciate your assistance!#sanral #kinddeeds," Pizer captioned the post on Facebook.
Pizer's post inspired others and it even got the attention of Positive Relationships in SA, a Facebook group aimed at shedding light on the unity in our beautiful country.
The post sparked quite the reaction and Briefly.co.za gathered social media users were left proud to be South African.
Mandy McNicol Erasmus commented: "Amazing, humble, kind people who are all struggling together, live in this country xx I am so proud to be South African."
