South African rapper AKA has taken to social media to announce that he’s dropping the Jika music video soon, and we couldn’t be more excited.
Aka features newly signed act Yanga Chief on the record. His last single, Fela in Versace was well received by Mzansi listeners and became one of the biggest songs of the summer.
The rapper is finally trending for his music and not his rants on social media. Just a week ago, Briefly.co.za reported that the rapper shook up Twitter when he posted that he was voting for the ANC. In a series of tweets, AKA, one of the country’s most influential celebrities, revealed that he would be voting for the ruling party in the upcoming 2019 elections but didn’t know why.
The Jika music video is not all he’s been working on lately. We recently reported that the busy rapper is featured in Tresor's upcoming new album. Their collab, Electric Night, is already a huge favourite with fans. Tresor praised AKA's songwriting skills when he was asked on social media why he collaborated with the rapper. He also said AKA was perfect for the sound he wanted.
From his picture posted on social media, it looks like it will be quite a fun video.
