A tweep, who was identified by his Twitter handle as Ngubane, took to the social media platfrom to thank a couple of men for helping his girl.
According to Ngubane, his bae suffered a flat tyre and two men stopped to help her change it.
He shared a photo of the kind men along with a screenshot of his chat with his girlfriend. The messages showed he asked her for the man's number, adding he wanted to thank him.
However, she said she did not take the guy's number, so he opted for Twitter.
"To the guys at Midrand who helped my girl, Thank you," he captioned the post.
However, Briefly.co.za gathered social media users had no chill in their responses to Ngubane's post. They pointed out he attempted to check on his bae by asking for the man's number.
Tweeps pointed out he might lose his bae to her rescuers and they probably already have her number.
Social media user @timihamilton commented: "She took the number bro. Don’t save her, she don’t wanna be saved."
