Mzansi rapper, Nadia Nakai has assured her fans that she will drop her debut album soon.
According to a report by TshisaLive, she was forced to address the mob of impatient fans who had been questioning when she was going to drop her long-awaited debut album.
Fans even pestered her label boss, Cassper Nyovest on Twitter this week, demanding answers as to when the star will release her album. There has been several delays in the past.
Nadia said she was very much aware of the public outcry for the album but she thought it would be best when she released it at a peak level.
She said she knows everyone has been waiting impatiently but she can’t say much right now.
“I don’t want to drop something that I am not completely proud of and then look back and think I could have done better. I try not to give into pressure and then regret it.”
The artist said she has been in the studios for months working and reworking on songs.
“It is difficult but I know what I want to do with it and I don’t want to rush it. I know that all eyes are on me now and I have to deliver.”
She was hesitant to give a date for the release of the album but promised that fans could expect it later this year.
Nadia's label boss, Cassper Nyovest said he was confident that the rapper will drop her album later this year. Briefly.co.za reported him saying he had definitely seen Nadia’s improvement and that's she's ready for her album to drop.
