Natasha Thabane's rise to fame: lands new weekend gig on Imbewu

After a brief absence from TV screens, Mzansi actress, Natasha Thabane, is making a comeback tonight, with her new role on eTV's Imbewu The Seed. Her character, Liyana Luthuli, is set to bring comfort to the Bhengu family on the TV series.

The actress posted a pic on Instagram, informing her fans of her new role and encouraged them to watch the show.

She wrote: "Meet Liyana. •••What a beautiful name. Debut: Friday, 25 January 2019. Etv. 9:30PM I hope you enjoy it as much I enjoyed workin’ with the cast & crew to make this happen . #ImbewuTheSeed."

The actress first made her debut on SABC 1's Skeem Saam a few years ago. The New York Film School graduate then joined Mzansi Magic's The Queen for a couple of years before she decided to leave the show to further her education.

She remained out of the limelight for a while, but a few weeks ago, it was revealed that she bagged a role on eTV's Imbewu. She makes her debut on the show tonight, Friday, 25 January.

Mzansi's most loved young actress has grown up, and we could see just how much when she posted a pic as part of the #10YearChallenge, that sent the Internet on a frenzy.
