South Africans are loving a hilarious video created by comedian, Lasizwe Dambuza.
Dambuza has racked up an impressive following on his YouTube channel due to his comedic clips.
This one saw him playing the role of 3 mothers from different ethnic groups and how each would react to their children fighting.
He starts off as a white mother and she reacts by demanding that her son apologise to the other boy.
She also warns him that his privileges, such as mobile phone and Wi-Fi would be revoked if he does not comply.
Next up is the coloured mother who remains seemingly composed but with a sassy edge to her statements/ questions.
She compares her son to Chun-Li, one of the characters in the Street Fighter video game.
The mom then also wants to know who the victor of the fight was.
If the first 2 characters were funny, the 3rd takes it to a whole new level as Dambuza portrays a black mother.
She smashes down the door in anger as she enters the room.
The irate mother is seen with a slipper in 1 hand and a belt in the other.
She demands the boy choose his punishment as she aggressively says, “Pick a choice.”
Her son responds to say the other boy started it and her reaction is: “I don’t care who started it. You are not cars.”
Dambuza seems to have nailed it with each character based on the general consensus.
What adds to the humour are the costume changes and subtle variations in accent and lingo.
Briefly.co.za noted this to be 1 of Dambuza’s most popular clips as it has already been viewed in excess of 40 000 times.
