Fans shower The Queen's veteran actor, Vusi Thanda, with praise

A tweep who goes by the name, IAmAn African (thatswaziguy) has posted a photo of The Queen's veteran actor, Vusi Thanda, on Twitter and requested the public to retweet if they appreciated the actor while he was still alive.

Perhaps his tweet is to appreciate the elder generation in the entertainment industry, following the death of legendary muso, Oliver Mtukudzi on Wednesday.

Briefly.co.za learned that veteran actor, Vusi Thanda, made his debut on The Queen in January last year and he was instantly a hit with the show's fans.

It appeared that Thanda’s character, Mziwoxolo, offered a little competition for the beloved uncle Brutus- and adding his funny comments made him even more of a threat.

Vusi previously played the role of Tshawe in comedy Emzini wezinsizwa on TV from 1993 to 2005, where he became a household name. He had the audiences in stitched and still does so now as uncle Mzoxolo on The Queen.
