The Watson family reportedly tried to get Angelo Agrizzi, former COO of Bosasa, to keep his mouth shut about the corruption ruling the day at the company by offering him a huge bribe.

Of course, the Watsons were smart about the bribe, or at least, they thought they were. They allegedly camouflaged the bribe in the form of a business deal.

The business deal would see Agrizzi set up a new business, among other things. This would then see Gavin Watson, Bosasa's boss-man, pay Agrizzi R10 million a year for 6 years.

TimesLIVE reported this information came from leaked documents.

In exchange for this massive amount of money, Agrizzi would have backed out of plans to release details of Bosasa's corrupt activities to the media

Agrizzi admitted that there were several attempts by Bosasa and the Watsons to get him back into the company.

If this information is true, the Watson family is desperate to keep their corrupt dealings a secret. Briefly.co.za reported earlier on who the family is and what they do.

'Bosasa bribes' are big news at the moment.
