The South African National Editors Forum has met with the State Capture Commission of Inquiry over the allegations that the forum received a donation of R100 000 from Bosasa.
According to a report by EWN, the forum will share the findings of an independent auditing firm with the public.
The auditing firm has been appointed to investigate the claims of the donation and will start doing so as soon as possible.
Sanef insists that it never requested any money from Bosasa - now named African Global Group.
Briefly.co.za gathered that there was public outrage after TimesLIVE reported that the company donated money to Sanef.
According to reports, Angelo Agrizzi has claimed that Bosasa bribed journalists in exchange for producing positive articles about the company.
He made the revelation at the Zondo Commission, where he as provided explosive testimony for several days. Agrizzi, the former Bosasa COO, did not identify any specific journalists or news outlets, however.
