- Fikile Mbalula called out former SA head of state, Jacob Zuma, for conducting presidential work that was not delegated to him
- Msholozi fired back at Mbaweezy, telling him not to discuss such matters on a social media platform
- However, many South Africans agreed with the former police minister
On Saturday, Jacob Zuma visited the Try Again Sports Ground in Limpopo to honour Kgoši Mampuru II.
However, the former president received some backlash from the ANC's campaign coordinator.
Fikile Mbalula, whose Twitter handle accurately says Mr Fearfokkol, called out uBaba for conducting presidential duties even though it has not been delegated to him.
"But cde President is this the right thing to do unless u are delegated Msholozi? U were a President bfo is this the right protocol ? To go around addressing events that should b addressed by a seating President?" he commented on Zuma's post.
However, Briefly.co.za gathered that Zuma came out guns blazing - the former president told Mbaweezy not to ask him such questions on Twitter. Zuma then went on to give Mbalula the 411 on the party's policy.
South Africans were amused over the two ANC members' very public argument and a screenshot of their conversation was posted on Man's Not Barry Roux's parody Twitter account.
Although Zuma set Mbalula straight, many South Africans agreed he was still acting as if he was the president.
