Nomzamo Mbatha earns honour to be chosen as UN Goodwill ambassador

Nomzamo Mbatha's hard work as an activist has paid off - she has been chosen as the United Nations Refugee Agency's newest goodwill ambassador. Nomzamo was very happy to share the good news on social media.

Local media personality, Nomzamo Mbatha, was chosen as the UN Refugee Agency's goodwill ambassador and she's super excited.

Nomzamo has been working hard as an advocate for UNHCR’s LuQuLuQu campaign since 2017, as reported by eNCA.

Now, her hard work paid off and earned her the pleasure of being goodwill ambassador.

Briefly.co.za gathered that the Refugee Agency released a statement and said that they could see Nomzamo's commitment to the LuQuLuQu campaign.

Nomzamo posted a video on social media, sharing the news that she was chosen as ambassador.

Being named a goodwill ambassador is an incredible honour and I can’t wait to embark on this journey, learn more and use my voice to truly be an agent of change.
