- Percy Tau is killing it in Europe
- He is one of the star attackers for Royal Union Saint-Gilloise
- The team is set to play Belgian Cup final that will make history
South African soccer star Percy Tau is raising the success bar super high. The young player is on the brink of a Belgian Cup final and we could not be more proud.
Percy left Mamelodi Sundowns last year to start his European football career. He is killing it.
Briefly.co.za has seen how Percy has flourished whilst playing for Royal Union Saint-Gilloise since he was loaned to the club by English Premier League outfit Brighton and Hove Albion.
As a result of a 0-0 draw last week, the Royal Union Saint-Gilloise are set to host the second leg of the semi-final today against KV Mechelen.
This means that the side is in the running for scoring a final in April against either AA Ghent or KV Oostende.
Percy has presented a strong set of attacking skills for the side which makes him one of their key players. However, this will not be an easy win as their opponents pack a good punch with a winning streak of 21 consecutive games.
With their last league title having been won before World War 2 and their three Belgian Cup triumphs in 1913‚ 1914 and 1927, this makes the stakes a lot higher for the team.
Percy recently completed his university degree, so this win will just be another notch on his belt of greatness for 2019.
