Like mother, like son: Sjava's mom performs hit song Uthando on stage

Sjava nearly moved his fans to tears when he posted a video of his mom performing one of his songs on stage recently.

The Uthando hit maker invited his mother onto the stage during one of his performances and she stole the show.

She was serenaded by the crowd, who sang Mlindo's song Egoli which Sjava features on. And when she sang the hit song, Uthando, the crowd went crazy.

Sjava posted the video on social media and explained that the performance was a special song because he wrote the hook thinking about his mother, and wanting to change her life.

The musician is renowned for his proudly Zulu and African music. His songs are stories about his reality as well as the hardships and victories he's had.

Fans took to social media to comment on the video. Many were inspired by the video that motivated them to do better for their parents.

This is not the first time Sjava has spoken about his love for his mom and it is clear she is the number one lady in his life.

Briefly.co.za reported how Sjava saved his mom by busking for his family. He would go to the busiest part of town and sing and dance for all to watch.

He would always receive donations which was enough money for them to pay the fare back home.
