A woman, who has been identified as Caryn Melville, took to social media to share a truly inspiring post.
While racism in South Africa is a hot topic often covered by the media, there are individuals who prove that Ubuntu is still alive and thriving in the country.
Melville took to Facebook on Friday to share how one man went the extra mile to help a sick woman in a hospital.
The man, who is also a patient by the looks of his hospital gown, prepared a woman's bed for her and helped her lay down.
He then covered her with a blanket and made sure all the things she had with her were stashed away somewhere safe.
"This is how South Africa should be. Here is a fellow South African helping out another fellow citizen. He made this ladies bed in the hospital and still helped her into bed, covered her with a blanket and ensured her belongings were safe. This brought a tear to my eye to see that we as a nation can work together," Melville captioned a photo of the touching scene.
Briefly.co.za gathered that the post gave social media users the feels and they were blown away by the man's kindness.
Mynhardt Kitshoff commented: "So nice to see even a sick person helping others. An example for us all."
