The first episode of season two's The River had fans on the edge of their seat, waiting to find out if the show's villain, Lindiwe Dlamini, is dead or alive.
ZAlebs reported that Lindiwe shot herself in the head after discovering that Tumi was her daughter in the last episode of season one. Fans were shocked as they wondered whether the mining mogul was dead or not.
The first episode showed Lindiwe being rushed to hospital and undergoing surgery. We saw that the doctors removed the bullet from her head, but Lindiwe suddenly stopped breathing and flatlined in the last seconds of the first episode.
Fans were not impressed with Lindiwe's difficulty to breathe. They took to Twitter in astonishment and disbelief while others encouraged their fans that the main villain of the show simply cannot die.
