On Monday, a video was posted on South Africa Live's Facebook group which showed passengers furiously demanding to be let off a taxi after the driver allegedly endangered their lives.

Briefly.co.za gathered that the footage showed passengers screaming before getting off from the taxi. The driver then lost his cool and is heard telling the passengers that they should not talk to him.

With a lot of swearing, the driver added that he is not afraid of the traffic cops and he knows the laws of the road.

South Africans were left shocked over the footage and they slammed the driver.

Juan Henn commented: "'I know the road rules', yet its causing an obstruction in traffic after endangering all the occupants and people around him. No wonder SA has highest road death toll in the world. What a tool! Take the train you tool. Oh wait, train got burned couple of weeks ago."
Charmaine Radjoo added: "Passengers should report the drivers except in most cases they condone the type of reckless driving. I see it how the passengers and the driver laugh and jeer at other road users unfortunately."
