South Africans took to Twitter to have a say about Jazob Zuma's firing shots at Cyril Ramaphosa.
The former president took to Twitter and pulled a Donald Trump, throwing some shade at his critics.
This, time, however his target was his successor in Tuynhuis, according to TimesLIVE.
Cyril Ramaphosa had referred to Zuma's presidency as a waste of time for South Africa, Briefly.co.za learned.
In reply, Zuma shared a list of his accomplishments on Twitter, with the caption, "Nine wasted years?" The list included his record on HIV/Aids prevention and his provision of free tertiary education for poor students.
The list seemed at odds with Zuma's actual presidential track record, however. During his presidency, the rand was downgraded to junk status and corruption reportedly reached record levels, to name just two low points.
Social media users were quick to chime in after Zuma shared his post.
One user by the name of BozaZomba hit back at Zuma, saying the former president was acting innocent when he in fact had done terrible things while in office.
Another, GenoBrown, called Zuma a "has been who is scraping at bottom to salvage some legacy." The user Korgi_o summed up the general mood when he tweeted at Zuma: "You are delusional…"
