Cassper Nyovest thought he was being nice by sharing great advice with an aspiring musician, but it blew up in his face. Instead of thanking him, people took to social media to complain that he doesn't care.
Musician Cassper Nyovest got roasted for telling an upcoming artiste to sign himself after being asked to help him find a label that could sign him.
He took to social media to clear the air and explain that he was giving the artiste good advice, as reported on by Briefly.co.za.
However, this was not good enough for everyone, as they remarked that Cassper doesn't care about his fans' dreams.
Perhaps some people just want to hate, as Cassper suggested in response to all the negative attention he got.
Or perhaps people expected him to spit out a list of recording companies for fans to try their luck with, as reported on by SAHipHopMag.
Whatever the case, some fans did not have nice things to say about Cassper's advice.
@RickyPatrick95 - Look at the people we spend our cash on, buying and supporting their crafts... This is rude... I will never overate a mortal being... There's no politeness in that phrase instead to be motivator his proving not to care of a fans dream nxxxx
The aspiring artiste who asked the question also had something to say:
@DuSbonelo - I was not even asking to be sign by him bt i was asking for help to find a better company for me like Sony becouse they know him and it is easy for him to reach at them coz they know him bt akusenani
