Cassper's long time friend, Riky Rick is hosting his first musical festival this weekend with the much awaited Cotton Fest to take place on Saturday.

ZAlebs reported that the festival features 80 acts on two stages featuring the finest music and culture today. The line-up features most of Mzansi's hip hop heavy-weights from Kwesta, AKA, Nasty C, to Riky himself.

But one big hip-hop name is missing. Cassper Nyovest. A week ago, music fans were speculating that there could be some kind of beef going on between the two rappers. But Ricky quickly said he had a surprise act and if fans looked at the poster, they would see.

Cassper took the opportunity to comment on Twitter and said there's no beef between him and his friend. But the rapper also added more fuel to the fire by saying that he wasn't booked for the event or even asked to perform.

Riky and Cassper's friendship has been looking a little shaky since halfway through last year. But it was clear as black and white when Cassper Nyovest's name didn't appear in the announcement for the Cotton Fest line-up.

Riky has performed at a number of Cassper's FillUp concerts and vice versa over the years, but something is very noticeably wrong between the two recently.

Fans however have disagreed and put their feels on social media:

Meanwhile, Briefly.co.za reported recently on Cassper Nyovest sharing some money-moving advice on how kids can become successful.

He took to Twitter last Friday and tweeted some golden advice to his fans, especially the younger music lovers.

He said: "I was gonna say this at the end of my career but it's a bit selfish not to share the info with kids who wonder why I'm the most loved rapper in my country. There's a lot of markets out there, exploit them! I hope you bought it and Monate Mpolaye were written by the same guy.
