A video was posted on social media on Thursday which showed three men robbing a store in Pretoria.
On Thursday, Yusuf Abramjee posted a video on his Twitter account, which showed thugs stealing watches from a Pretoria store.
"Look at these men stealing watches from a store in the Pretoria CBD today. #CrimeWatch," the video was captioned.
The CCTV footage showed the men keeping an eye out for passersby as they positioned themselves to loot the jewellery display case - which tweeps pointed out was suspiciously unlocked.
Briefly.co.za saw the men took several watches before making their escape. The footage shocked South Africans, who thought the robbery was conducted with too much ease.
Social media user @zsmile1 commented: "Why was the cabinet unlocked? Did Someone left it unlocked for them??"
Another tweep, @fatz1505, added: "Why have cameras if no one is monitoring them. Catch them in the act, not after."
Ngwana Morena, who goes by the Twitter handle @cheesemonkey85, wrote: "Shoplifting has its own special kind of body language!"
Twitter user @MrCool_KK said: "Why do they even have cctv if they'll use it as dstv to watch repeats of what went down?"
Meanwhile, another video raised eyebrows on social media. Briefly.co.za reported earlier that a video went viral which showed a robbery and bombing at an Engen garage.
