A mother was moved to tears of joy by the generosity and kindness shown to her and her six children. A complete stranger saw that her children were sharing a bottle of water, and decided to buy them drinks and snacks from a nearby store.
The New York mother of six was overwhelmed by the kindness and generosity of a complete stranger, who simply happened to pass her by in the street.
The man drove past the family and noticed that the children were sharing water. Recognising that the family were unable to afford to buy more water, the lovely man stopped by a nearby store to buy the family snacks and drinks.
A video of the kind deed was shared on social media, touching the hearts of people all around the world.
Social media users applauded the man, offering plenty of love and blessings. Users agreed that people needed to show each other kindness more often, even when its not recorded on camera or shared on the internet.
Social media user, Tim Brown Sr. wrote, “We have to help each other when we can, and people talking shit about good deeds being recorded for likes and attention but these good gestures can spark other to do the same.”
Camille Smith said that the video reminds her to put her complaints into perspective, as our situations are often not as bad as they seem in the moment. “Sweet and sad at the same time,” Camille says about the video. “Everytime, I watch these videos it reminds me to stop complaining about nonsense. I hope this family will be okay soon. Bless that man for his kindness.”
The video reminded social media user, Jason Turpen, of similar situation he had found himself in when he worked at a local waffle house.
“It was like 2 in the morning this family came in to use the bathroom . I started talking to the Dad who told me all he had was gas money to get to Mobile. I made them about 100 dollars worth of food to go and gave the man 30 bucks out of my pocket. I got reamed by my boss for that but it was the right thing to do,” Jason recalls.
