SA saddened by early retirement of young soccer legend Wiseman Meyiwa

Wiseman Meyiwa, the talented young soccer player, has suffered serious injuries in a car accident and now the young man's career has come to a sudden and tragic halt. South Africans took to social media to wish him the best and mourn his retirement.

After a terrible accident on 3 November 2018, soccer legend in the making, Wiseman Meyiwa's career dreams have been shattered.

Briefly.co.za learned that he was on his way to visiting his family in Pietermaritzburg.

Kaizer Chiefs issued a statement, saying Wiseman had a very promising future, and his injuries are a blow to everyone.

Hashendra Ramjee, the team's doctor, said the 19-year-old sustained various injuries including an unstable fracture of his thoracic vertebrae with spinal cord injury.

Kaizer Chiefs fans, and South Africans in general, were saddened to hear the tragic news.

They took to social media to mourn Wiseman's untimely retirement, and wish him and his family the best.
