Nandi Madida has been in the entertainment world for a long time. Along the way, she has seen many inspiring people who persevered no matter how hard things got for them. She took to social media to share some of these stories.
The entertainment is full of nasty stories of people putting themselves first and walking over others to gain fame and fortune.
But there are also positive stories that shine like little rays of sunlight, showing the hardy souls of some people who refuse to give up and in the end inspires the rest of us.
Nandi Madida knows of many such stories and recently took to social media to share some of them with her fans.
Nandi told of Cassper Nyovest, who she met when he was still trying to make his way in the music world.
Why @CassperNyovest success story moves me so much,is becoz I remember talking to Refiloe yrs ago when we were both MAD broke&he was looking for a place to stay but still hustling this music thing not wanting to give up. His success amongst others makes me believe there’s a God.
She also mentioned celebs like Pearl Thusi, Khanya Mkangisa, Amanda du-Pont, and Lerato Kganyago and how they were all auditioning together before making it big.
I remember always bumping into my girls @PearlThusi @Amandadupont and @KhanyaMkangisa at every audition for ads/series etc. and we all had stickers with the number 10000000076/7/8 &wait until they called your number. But it’s awesome to see how all these ladies have made it!
Nandi is also inspired by her hubby, Zakes Bantwini, and his success story.
One of the stories that really inspires me is my husbands @ZakesBantwiniSA who once lived in a 2room home then later a 4room home in KwaMashu, no money etc. to later become an Exec at Sony, succesful musician, graduate 3 times &still be a dope humble human being..that’s inspiring.
Last, but not least, Nandi talked about Lerato Kganyago and how proud she is of the media personality.
I remember a sweet lady who had a TV show on the community TV channel Soweto TV invited me to have an interview with her, she was talented and kind-hearted.. her name was @leratokganyago.. proud of you ma!
Nandi wants others to take these stories to heart and use it to inspire them to never give up on their dreams.
