Bantu Holomisa, leader of the UDM party, agrees with the IFP that 'monstrous' Zuma cannot solely be blamed for the '9 wasted years' as Ramaphosa put it. Holomisa feels that the President was just as complicit in the mistakes made during that time as his predecessor.
Speaking at the Cape Town Press Club today, Bantu Holomisa joined other political figures in condemning not only ex-president Jacob Zuma, but President Cyril Ramaphosa.
The leader of the United Democratic Movement felt that the 'nine wasted years' comment Ramaphosa had made recently, in reference to Zuma, was somewhat hypocritical.
Briefly.co.za reported earlier that the IFP had pointed out the President had served as a member of the ANC during Zuma's reign, making Cyril's attempt to distance himself somewhat distasteful.
According to The Citizen, Holomisa was adamant that, although Zuma had been a 'monstrous' leader, he couldn't be hold solely responsible.
The UDM leader had cited 'brazen looting' as having led to the downfall of government, allowing South Africa to become a 'nation of commissions of inquiries'.
