On Monday, a video was posted on social media which showed learners violently vandalising a home.
On 4 February, Shukeli Moola took to social media to share disturbing CCTV footage of her property, which was damaged by a gang of pupils.
"Ganges students vandalising my property. On Friday afternoon my son opened our gate to receive a package. 2 boys ran into my house," the post started off.
Moola added, "My son saw these students running into our yard so he closed the gate. Apparently these boys were gambling in the grounds and they robbed them. My son had no idea what was going on. We are innocent and our property was damaged."
Briefly.co.za gathered the video went viral, reaching over 208k views in just two days. South Africans were furious and they called on severe measures to be taken.
Jessica Leigh Murray commented: "Who wants to live in a life where there is such violence, you are not safe no matter where you are and this is the new generation of children! Makes me not even want to bring another life into this sick world! I'd rather live with animals than to live with humans that are such a disgrace. Makes me so sick honestly. I want to call them pigs but even pigs behave better."
Shirley Letley added: "What dumb idiots. They need to get arrested and pay for their actions. They feel they can do anything.. Teach them a lesson.."
Muhammad Kashif wrote: "Someone suppose to shoot them same time. That's what they deserve. Stupids."
