Squad goals: Man’s friends send him R750 as “Friendship Allowance”
Imagine having friends who would drop you a few hundred rands, simply for being a good friend. Mzansi was in disbelief after a young man tweeted that his friends deposited R750 into his banking account as “Friendship Allowance”. He proudly gashed that he had the best friends ever.

The rest of South Africa jokingly questioned whether they’d get some money if they joined his friendship circle, and even volunteered to be his friend. But his story also made people realise that such acts of love and kindess happen more often than anyone realises, Briefly.co.za found.
