Rapper and music producer, Cassper Nyovest's fan are still shocked at his most recent fallout with one of his best friends, Riky Rick. The latest news leaned towards his fans believing that he has a growing list of frenemies.
TshisaLive reported that changing your circle of friends over the years is pretty normal but fans couldn't believe how both Riky and Cassper could clarify their friendship on social media and still say they don't have any beef with each other.
Cassper said that Riky Rick did say that they weren’t real friends. He said he was at first confused but realised that Riky was right and it is was it is.
"No beef. Just ain't talking. That happens. Let’s not blow it up into beef. I don’t wanna beef with nobody. Especially people who were close friends. Don’t have that type of energy," said Cassper.
Both rappers used to respect each other even though they weren't the closest of friends. They were often seen coming up to each other and bump each other as to say howzit. But later their music rivalry blew out of hand and escalated where the two can't stand each other anymore. There was even rumours that two were beefing to increase sale numbers. It's all about the competition we guess.
Emtee and Cass were pretty tight before. They would hang out at the recording station with each other and Cass even give him the opportunity to perform at #FillUpOrlandoStadium. But a year or so later things turned soar after Emtee started to slam Cass on social media.
Cassper had his eye on A-Reece and his musical talent since 2014, and even asked him to perform at one of his #FillUpFNB, which he apparently did for free. They were thick as thieves up until 2017, but a few months later things changed. A-Reece felt offended by Cassper's attitude towards him, after he was slammed for his comments about weed.
5. Tshego and Gemini Major
They were mostly business friends. Tshego and Gemini Major were both signed under Cassper's Family Tree Record label. They grew in their music under his wing, but the artists noticed a little tension in Cassper's attitude a week after they decided to depart from his record label. Despite the tension, Tshego and Gemini still said they had no beef with Cassper.. They were also close at first but now there is no connection whatsoever with their former boss as the two artists chose to pursue other business interests.
Meanwhile Briefly.co.za reported earlier today about Cassper clapping back at a troll who called his friend a "garden boy".
The Gusheshe hit maker had posted a picture with the man, named Innocent, captioned: “Me and my best friend. One of my biggest blessings. Talking to this guy on a daily is one of the most therapeutic things I’ve ever experienced.”
To which a fan, responded to by asking if the friend would still be a “garden boy” in 5 years time.
Let's hope he doesn't have a fallout with his best friend, Innocent.
