A man, Solomon Izang Ashoms, has come forward, claiming Shepherd Bushiri offered him a job four years ago. However, Ashoms said he turned it down because Major One and his team wanted to mislead the congregation with false powers.
In 2015, Ashoms met with the controversial Prophet Bushiri for a media job. However, he added he was not impressed and warned Major One against his schemes.
According to an article by the Daily Sun, Ashoms explained Bushiri's media team edited footage to make it appear as if he had powers.
“The media team edited footage to make it look as if he had powers. They edited a clip to make it look like he walked on air,” he said.
“I told Bushiri his conduct was not right. But he helped me understand false prophets exist and how they operate," Ashoms added.
Briefly.co.za gathered Ashoms, the founder of African Centre For Ethics, has been very vocal about his disapproval of Bushiri on social media.
Taking to his Facebook account, Ashoms slammed Bushiri for asking his followers to take screenshots of social media posts about him.
"So false prophet Bushiri still thinks his witchcraft and threats works....please please take my screenshot to your church on Friday....Rubbish," he wrote.
