So, Briefly.co.za took a look at four newspaper headlines for 7 February.
1. Bosasa: More arrests to come
The spokesman for the Hawks made the comments at Pretoria's Specialised Commercial Crime Court which suggested that more high profile arrests in connection to the Bosasa scandal were a possibility.
2. The NPA's new dawn
Several experts believe the arrests of five of seven former Bosasa and government officials could be a new dawn for the NPA.
It has not even been a week since Shamila Batohi took over as head of the NPA and already some notable names were arrested.
3. Parents dissatisfied
A group of parents closed off the gates of Laerskool La Trobe in Enon, because of a lack of teacher and overflowing classes.
According to a parent, David Kerspay, parents were fuming over the shortage of educators and to add fuel to fire, the principal was on sick leave.
4. Rapist uncle gets life
A 47-year-old man received life behind bars after he was found guilty of sexually assaulting his nine-year-old niece.
The sentence was handed down this week at the Protea Magistrate court, Soweto. The man sexually assaulted the little girl in May 2017 while sharing a bed with her.
His younger sister gave him a place to stay as he was having marital problems, the Sowetan reported.
