Somizi's bae, Mohale Motaung, landed a gig on the small screen and they are super excited about this new opportunity.

Mohale will be playing the role of Odirile in MTV Shuga Down South, a show that tells a bitter-sweet tale of love, betrayal, relationships and heartache.

Somizi took to social media to show his pride in Mohale:

So proud of him right now for going for what he loves unapologetically and bold. His first role. Here’s to a great future as an actor.

He is clearly overjoyed for his man.

So when a hater tried to rain on their parade, Somizi did not stand for that and quickly shut it down.

The person commented that Mohale only got his role in the drama TV series because of his relationship with Somizi.

The hater said that dating celebs come with a lot of perks.

Bull! You got him that job and the rest of us that actually auditioned got sidelined. It's sad for the rest of us that aren't dating powerful people like you huh... You come with serious benefits. Big ups to Mohale.

And Somizi was not going to let anyone belittle what Mohale is doing, as reported on by TimesLIVE.

Even if that’s the case. Wtf would you expect me to do? He’s my partner. My fiancé. If him being with me makes things easier for him so be it. I’m not going to feel sorry for that. All the luck to you.
