Charlize Theron shares major throwback to her SA modelling days

Taking to social media, Charlize Theron shared a snap of when she was still a young model in South Africa.

The picture is from when she was the Rooi Rose New Model Today winner in 1991. She looked very cute back then, but Charlize possesses a beauty that only betters with age - much like good South African wine.

Charlize captioned the photo, saying she really wishes she had kept the red top that she was wearing in the photo - showing us that she has the same fashion sense as 28 years ago.

katenayloruk - You haven’t aged a day

Charlize is more than a pretty face with a stunning body - she has a heart of gold that is invested in South Africa.

She hasn't forgotten her roots, and still cares what happens over here, despite being a bigshot Hollywood actress.

The Charlize Theron Africa Outreach Project celebrated its 10th birthday last year.

Briefly.co.za reported that CTAOP was started by Charlize 11-years ago with the aim to educate young people in Sub-Saharan Africa (and more specifically in South Africa) about the dangers of HIV/AIDS.

The foundation hopes that educating young people will help in the fight against the disease.

We're so proud of our girl!
