Mulalo Negondeni has enjoyed a meteoric rise of late.
The 24-year-old hails from Mukula village in Venda and is earning rave reviews for his architectural skills.
Briefly.co.za previously reported on how Negondeni wowed social media with his realistic replicas of FNB stadium and other buildings in Gauteng.
Now the youngster’s creative ability has earned him a special invite to attend the Soweto derby as a VIP guest on Saturday.
The contest sees Kaizer Chiefs taking on Orlando Pirates at the FNB stadium and Negondeni will enjoy an all-expenses trip for himself, parents and sister.
The trip is being sponsored by the company managing the stadium, Stadium Management SA.
The company will also be funding Negondeni’s studies going forward – he’s currently studying civil engineering for roads construction at the Vhembe TVET College.
SowetanLIVE reported that Dr Jacques Grobbelaar, chief executive at Stadium Management SA, first noted the youngster’s work via Twitter and was immediately impressed.
Negondeni shared a response via the Twitter handle, @retro_vibe, saying, “When Jesus says yes, nobody can say no.”
