Nandi took to social media to let people know how easily they can be exploited, after having a near experience herself.

She began tweeting about "more money, more problems" on Wednesday, 6 February. She added that we live in a world so money obsessed that it is important not to forget that relationships are paramount too. In fact, she said that maintaining relations and having a good reputation is worth more than making money.

She explained that she and her brother was nearly exploited and robbed of millions, which led her to believe why artists die poor even though there is so much money owned to them. She began a thread on Twitter to warn other artists against people who give the entertainment industry a bad name.

Nandi was emphasising the importance of a good publisher. She urged all artists to check in with their publisher from time to time to check if they are receiving what's due to them.
