SA flocks to Bushiri's church for his first sermon since his arrest

Prophet Shepherd Bushiri's followers are extremely loyal. They flocked to his church to attend his first sermon since his release from police custody on the 6th of February. Bushiri and his wife each got R100 000 bail.

Sunday, 10 February saw thousands of South Africans flock to the church of Prophet Shepherd Bushiri to see his first sermon since his release from jail.

Bushiri and his wife were both released on R100 000 bail on Wednesday, 6 February. They were arrested little over a week ago by the Hawks on grounds of fraud and money laundering.

The controversial prophet's followers flooded to the church venue, as reported on by The Sowetan.

According to reports, the congregants could be heard singing from outside the church as they chanted praises.

Briefly.co.za gathered that the church-goers were seen praying while declaring fire upon those who acted against their admired and beloved leader.

The charismatic prophet's followers are clearly in the belief that he is innocent of the charges against him.
