Zoleka Mandela shares one of her fondest memories of Winnie Mandela

Zoleka Mandela recently gave birth to her fifth child, and just before that she shared one of her favourite memories of her grandmother, Winnie Mandela. She shared how her grandma was by her side during the birth of one of her kids.

Zoleka Mandela was very close to her grandmother, Winnie Mandela. Since her passing, Zoleka has been dealing with the immense loss of her "Day One", and she keeps her memories alive in her heart.

Zoleka recently gave birth to her 5th little bundle of joy, Zenzile Bashala, and just before that she shared a memory that is very precious to her.

She shared on social media how Ma Winnie was by her side during the birth of one of her children.

Briefly.co.za gathered that the video will be used in a documentary that Zoleka plans to make.

Here's what Zoleka said about the memory that is so close to her heart:

Look at her walking behind me (with some of her body guards) as I was being wheeled into theatre for my C-Section. She was in all black (because she mourned my grandfather for an entire year). She was also in physical pain on this day, if I remember well? No matter how sick she was, she was always with Mr Bashala at all my doctor’s appointments and surgeries then she would get upset at me for sleeping on a hospital lazy boy next to her bed every single time that she was hospitalised.

Zoleka's bond with her grandmother is something that goes beyond death, and she will forever be in her heart.
