As the day of AKA’s roast draws near, many were shocked to learn that Pearl Thusi would be the roast master. The rapper told TshisaLIVE that their beef was over and he was happy that she would be a part of the roast.

But sitting down with TshisaLIVE recently, the rapper said that the negativity was all in past and he actually endorsed the decision to appoint Pearl.

When asked about the pair's sudden friendship, the Fela In Versace hit maker said that the situation was different back then:

If you can’t remember, the rapper had broken DJ Zinhle’s heart by cheating on her with Bonang Matheba – while she was pregnant with his child.

Mess.

But it seems everyone has taken the mature route on this one. Pearl will be the Roast Master, while celebrities such as Mark Fish will be on the panel of roasters. The rapper said he wouldn’t even mind if his rival Cassper Nyovest or his ex, Bonang were added as roasters.

"If they wanted to be on the roast that would have been great but for obvious reason I'm sure they won't."

He added that he is not worried about DJ Zinhle or Kairo getting dragged into the roast.

"If you want to bring my daughter into the roast, it says more about you than it says about me."
