Actress, Nomzamo Mbatha, shared a throwback snap of her as a child at her first pageant, on social media recently.
When Nomzamo posted the snap on Instagram, she also opened up about how her late dad hated beauty pageants and was upset that Nomzamo's mom had entered her in a pageant as a child.
"My dad hated pageants so much and when he heard my mom had entered me into one at my crèche he was so upset! first and last time I was ever in one, I think. "
She looked so adorable, no wonder they chose her as a 1st princess.
From pageant girl to actress, Nomzamo has sure come a long way. She made her debut in the spotlight after entering an MTV presenter competition. But even though she did not win the competition, a few months later she bagged the role of Thandaza on Isibaya.
Since then, Nomzamo has being flourishing on stage and more recently received a nomination for her role as Best Actress in the South African Film and Television Awards (SAFTA). She shared the news with her followers on Instagram.
